Brand & Identity.
Recognizably you.
A logo is the beginning. A brand is the feeling that carries through everything else. I build thoughtful identity systems that make your business look cohesive, feel authentic, and stay recognizable wherever people meet it.
One clear identity.
Everywhere it matters.
The goal is a working brand system: the right marks, colors, type, and guidance to make everyday creative decisions easier.
Brand discovery & direction
Clarify your audience, positioning, personality, and the impression the identity needs to make. Existing assets and competitor context help establish a useful direction before the visual exploration begins.
Logo design & variations
Develop a primary mark and the supporting arrangements your business needs. Wide, stacked, compact, and simplified versions are considered around actual uses, not added simply to fill a presentation.
A working color palette
Choose a purposeful palette with clear roles for primary, supporting, and background colors. Consider contrast, legibility, and the differences between screen and print applications as part of the system.
Typography & visual language
Define the roles for headings, body copy, and supporting text. Typography, spacing, imagery direction, and simple graphic elements help the brand feel connected even when the logo is not prominent.
Guidelines & usable brand files
Bring the approved choices into a practical guide and organized asset handoff. File formats, applications, font licensing, and any editable templates are agreed in the project scope.

The details make it yours.
A familiar palette. A distinctive type treatment. A visual language that holds together beyond the logo.
Talk about your brand →Keep the recognition.
Build the missing pieces.
You may not need to replace everything. If the existing logo still fits, the real need might be stronger typography, a more usable palette, or clear rules for how the brand appears.
For a new business or a meaningful change in direction, a fuller identity can establish that foundation from the start. The scope follows the problem.
A clear direction.
Then the right details.
The work moves from business context to visual decisions, with space for focused feedback before the final handoff.
Discover
Review the business, audience, existing assets, and important applications. Decide what needs to change and what should carry forward.
Explore
Develop the agreed visual directions with context for the choices. Evaluate how the identity feels and how it will work in real use.
Refine
Bring your feedback into the selected direction. Resolve the logo variations, colors, typography, and supporting elements in scope.
Prepare & hand off
Package the approved assets and guidance. Explain file use, licensing responsibilities, and the next steps for putting the brand to work.
Your business.
A considered expression.
I bring brand strategy and hands-on design into the same conversation. You work directly with me, so the reasoning behind the identity stays connected to the finished work.

Good questions.
Clear answers.
A few things worth knowing before we begin. Have a question about your project? Send it to Charles.
Can you work with my existing logo?
Yes. An identity project can retain an existing logo while improving color, typography, supporting graphics, and usage guidance. We review what still represents the business and what is missing before recommending a refresh or a new direction.
What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?
A logo is one identifying mark. A visual identity is the connected system around it: logo variations, color, typography, imagery direction, and usage rules. Those choices help the business stay recognizable across different formats.
Do business cards, websites, and social templates come with the identity?
Only when included in the agreed scope. We identify the applications you need and separate the core identity work from the rollout. That keeps the proposal clear and avoids assuming that every possible branded item is part of one package.
What files will I receive?
The handoff is agreed around the approved deliverables and how you need to use them. Logo work typically needs scalable files and practical web formats, while guidelines explain the visual system. Editable source files, templates, and font or image licenses should be specified before work begins.
How many concepts and revisions are included?
The proposal defines the number of initial directions, feedback rounds, and final deliverables. Clear decision points help keep the work focused. Additional concepts or a change in direction outside that scope can be quoted separately.
Let’s make it
recognizably you.
