Marketing & Strategy

Marketing & Strategy.
Make it connect.

Good marketing starts with a clear idea: who you want to reach, what they need to understand, and why they should care. I turn that direction into thoughtful campaigns, email, copy, and creative that feel like your business.

The thinking and the follow-through

A clearer plan.
A more connected brand.

Strategy gives the work a direction. The copy, design, channels, and destination carry it into the customer experience.

Marketing direction

Translate business priorities into an audience, offer, message, and practical next step. Establish which channels and creative pieces belong in the plan, with clear responsibilities before production begins.

Campaign planning

Bring the message, timing, deliverables, and destination into one coordinated plan. Launches, promotions, events, and ongoing service awareness each need their own emphasis and sequence.

Email marketing

Plan and create focused email campaigns with a clear subject, useful content, and a sensible call to action. Platform work, audience selection, approvals, and reporting are defined in the scope.

Copywriting & messaging

Shape website copy, campaign messaging, emails, and supporting materials around what customers need to know. A consistent voice helps the business feel recognizable across different channels.

Content strategy & campaign creative

Organize useful content themes and develop the agreed creative around them. Connect each piece to a relevant destination, then review the response signals available for the campaign.

Have an offer worth talking about? Let’s give it a clear direction.

Give the work a direction.

Know who it is for, what it needs to say, and where the next step should lead.

One story across the customer journey

The message travels.
The brand stays familiar.

Someone may first see a campaign in an email, then visit a service page, then return to a printed piece after a conversation. Those moments should feel connected.

I plan the message and creative around that journey, with a consistent offer and a clear destination. The goal is useful communication—not more disconnected materials to manage.

A defined audience
Be clear about who the campaign needs to reach and what matters to them.
A focused message
Give the audience a reason to pay attention without asking one piece to say everything.
A relevant destination
Connect the message to the right page, event information, or inquiry path.

How it works

Start with the purpose.
Build the right pieces.

The work can be a focused campaign or a broader marketing direction. We agree on the outcome, deliverables, and responsibilities first.

Define the goal

Review the audience, offer, current materials, and business priorities. Decide what the project needs to communicate and support.

Shape the plan

Set the message, channels, timeline, and creative requirements. Identify the content, assets, and approvals needed to move forward.

Create & coordinate

Develop the agreed copy and design. Keep the campaign pieces aligned and collect feedback before delivery or scheduling.

Launch & learn

Release approved materials through the agreed workflow. Review available results and identify sensible refinements or follow-up work.

Before we get started

Good questions.
Clear answers.

A few things worth knowing before we begin. Have a question about your project? Send it to Charles.

How is this different from social media management?

Marketing and strategy considers the broader message, campaign, channels, and customer journey. Social media management focuses on the ongoing content and publishing process for agreed social accounts. They can work together, but the responsibilities and deliverables are scoped separately.

Can we start with one campaign?

Yes. A focused launch, promotion, event, or email campaign can be a useful starting point. We define the audience, message, required assets, destination, and timing before deciding what needs to be created.

Do you handle the copy and design?

Copywriting and campaign creative can be included together. Photography, video production, specialized development, and other production needs are discussed separately. Existing brand assets and accurate business information help establish the starting point.

Does the quote include advertising spend or software?

Only if explicitly stated. Creative work, platform subscriptions, advertising management, and media spend are separate costs to clarify before a campaign begins. A proposal should make those responsibilities easy to understand.

What do you need to get started?

A short description of the goal, the audience, the offer, and any deadline. Share your website and existing campaign materials if you have them. From there, we can identify the right deliverables and the information needed to create them.
